FOXEAST — Fox Eye Cosmetic, which sells makeup brushes and eye makeup bags in the U.S., said it is selling its cosmetics business to Kite, a cosmetics company that specializes in makeup for women.
FoxEyeCosmetics.com will now focus on making its products more accessible to the broader makeup community, which has grown in the last year, the company said in a statement.
The move comes after Kite made an investment in the cosmetics business, which includes a line of eye cosmetics that are also sold at beauty retailers such as Ulta.
Kite will now be the only U.K. makeup brand that can sell makeup products at Ulta, according to the company.
Kite has a large presence in the United States.
In 2014, it said it had 2 million members in the market.
Earlier this year, Kite acquired a portfolio of makeup brands, including Sephora and Sephorex.
